To all those Mallu Tech-Junkies out there

It has been a long and arduous seven years, and I am sick and tired of waiting for India Government funded donkey club agencies to do any serious relevant work to impliment regional language computing.

Having said that let me get to the point. We need a Uniscribe engine to run on Windows Mobile ver 5/6 , and Blackberry.

I am willing to set up a prize fund for the successful implimentation of indic-Unicode uniscribe engine on handheld devices. Just to let you guys know that I am not letting out hot air, I have already set aside an undisclosed sum as my contribution to the kitty. I am sure others will join in and do the same.

We will set up a team of experts, of our choosing, who will evaluate the software. Candidates will submit their software for evaluation to an e-mail address.

Please don't tell me this is a premature idea, and give lazy excuses for not doing some solid contribution to Malayalam language computing.

Ultimately we need to recognize the work done by people in this field.
Since there are no bodies in our sad country to recognize free enterprise and contribution to malayalam language computing, let us do it on our own.
