Shenzhou-8 launch: Major step towards China's 1st space station
China has successfully launched its unmanned spacecraft Shenzhou-8 for the country's first space docking. It marks a major step towards the nation's ultimate goal of building a permanent space station.


Senate approves NASA budget cut
By a 69 to 30 vote today, the U.S. Senate today approved legislation that would cut NASA's 2012 budget by $509 million, or 2.8 percent, to $17.9 billion.




GSLV failure tragic, say scientists
Describing the failure of the GSAT-5P communication satellite launch on Saturday evening as “very tragic”, India’s top space scientists said the launch vehicle going up in flames soon after the lift-off was “a major setback” for ISRO.



ചൈന ബഹിരാകാശത്തു ഒരോ സർക്കസുകൾ കാണിച്ചു ലോകത്തെ അമ്പരപ്പിക്കുന്നു. അമേരിക്ക കാശില്ലാത്തതുകൊണ്ടു   റോക്കറ്റും വിടൽ പരുവാടിയൊക്കെ അവസാനിപ്പിച്ച മട്ടാണു്.  സാമഗ്രികളും ആക്രി കച്ചവടം നടത്തുന്നുണ്ട് എന്നും കേൾക്കുന്നു.

നമ്മൾ വളരെ കാര്യമായി ബങ്കാൾ ഉൾക്കടലിൽ  ഉപഗ്രഹം വിക്ഷെപിച്ചു പഠിക്കുന്നു. GSLV ഏഴണ്ണം വിട്ടതിൽ അഞ്ചണ്ണവും ചീറ്റിപ്പോയി. ഈ പണി നമുക്ക് പറ്റിയതാണോ എന്നു കാര്യമായി ചിന്തിക്കേണ്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
