The Most common qualifier of any software or hardware of indian origin usually has the word "The First...". Why are we forever obsessed with this silly meaningless qualifier. There seems to be no other releavant feature worth mentioning other than the cronological factor. Does the buyer of this product feel comfort in knowing that he is one of the stupid few who actually went out and bought this buggy prototype. We take geat pride in spending tax-payers money into silly and pointless institutions that are headed into entirely different directions. We believe that our languages are "Unique" unlike the rest of the civilized world that has accepted and conformed to international standards for computing. So we need to have our own standards that no-one else can follow. Not even ourselves.
Listen to a few of these "Firsts"
"The first online-trilingual-dictionary-for-English-Hindi-and-Malayalam." So when Chinju Thomas of Kollipaadom, Thallacherry figures out a way of de-engineering this application it will be the "The first online-trilingual-dictionary-for-English-Hindi-and-Malayalam-in-color." And the litany of meaningless firsts continue.
